Besides being beautiful, the Eschscholzia californica is a traditional herbal remedy known for its mild sedative, anti-anxiety, and pain-relieving properties. It is commonly used to treat insomnia, reduce nervous agitation, alleviate mild pain (such as toothaches or muscle spasms), and support relaxation.
